Trake.app turns a music track into a video. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. The short version: your music never reaches us.
Everything — decoding your track, drawing the visualizer, rendering the video — runs inside your browser. Your audio files, images, videos, titles and the exported video are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We could not listen to your music if we wanted to; it is never sent anywhere. Nothing you load is stored on a server, because there is no server.
We use Umami to count how this site and the app are used. It sets no cookies and does not profile or identify you. It records page views and anonymous product events — which visualizer was chosen, which aspect ratio, whether an export succeeded, and roughly how long a clip was. On the pages outside the app it records only which link was followed, such as opening the app or moving to another page.
What it deliberately never records: your file names, your track or artist titles, your license key, or the contents of anything you load. Sizes and durations are rounded into broad ranges (for example "1–3 min") so they cannot identify a track.
Pro subscriptions are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. When you buy Pro, your name, email, billing address and payment details go to them — never to us. We never see or store your card details. Their privacy policy governs that data.
When you activate Pro, your license key is stored in your browser's local storage on that device so you stay unlocked. It is checked against Lemon Squeezy's license service to confirm your subscription is still active. Clearing your browser data removes it, and you can remove it yourself from the Pro dialog.
Because we hold no account and no personal data of yours, there is little for us to hand over or delete. For data held by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record — your purchase and billing information — contact them, or write to us and we will help.
